REVIEW:
L'More, L'Please!
Ever since my first visit original L'Industrie back in 2018, I have wanted more! Apparently, I was not alone. Demand for these premium-quality New York slices still far exceeds supply, and you can expect lines at every location. Don't expect seats, though—at least not at the new Little Italy outpost. It's standing room only. In a way, this is likely part of the operation to keep the traffic moving. They are ready for the rush.
L'Industrie is a fine-tuned slice-producing machine that is also "well-oiled" when it comes to the post-bake extra virgin olive variety. The rapid turnover keeps every offering fresh, meaning no slice sits around for too long. Each rests on a perfected crust and is layered with generous amounts of tomato sauce and cheeses. Oh, the cheeses! L'Industrie boasts industry-best low-moisture and fresh mozzarella, burrata, and a variety of grated cheeses that each enhance the other.
Be prepared to wait in a fast-moving line, then stake out and wipe down an eating surface all while listening carefully for your name to be called. It will be worth it. You really can't go wrong with any of the slice options, but I recommend at least one slice of the basic cheese. I love that each time L'Industrie opens a new spot, the quality remains tip-top and the likelihood I'm near one skyrockets!

1. Robin Rothman and Jacob Horn know more about credit card points than anyone else I know!
Robin Rothman and two soft-serves!
2. Robin Rothman loves soft serve. We both love gelato. Our favorite flavors are pistachio and dark chocolate. L'Industrie has soft serve gelato. They have two flavors: pistachio and chocolate. If that isn't the universe telling us to eat it than we got the wrong memo.
