You don't know Jax—but you should!

Opening its doors in Long Island City, Queens in March 2026, Jax Pizza Joint gets its moniker from the bustling thoroughfare you'll find it on: Jackson Avenue! Not only is the branding on point, but the place is spotless, offering a few stools inside alongside weather-permitting outdoor seating.

While the menu branches out into heroes, salads, desserts, beer, and wine, the pizza is the undisputed star of the show. Just note that there’s no public restroom, so plan accordingly if you’re pairing a slice with a beverage!

When it comes to ordering, I highly recommend the Jax Special: the house-made vodka sauce creates a heavenly blend with the shaved parm. Across the board, pies get elevated with fantastic post-bake garnishes—think savory prosciutto di parma and creamy burrata on the Baby Luka, or a fresh dusting of grated cheese, a drizzle of olive oil, and basil on a classic slice. Given these luxurious accoutrements, the prices remain remarkably reasonable.

Neighbors, businesses, and lucky passersby looking for a stellar slice or pie are in for a real treat at Jax.
